STAFF - CASSIE WILSON

Cassie Wilson - Blog Editor

The Blog Editor is responsible not only for reading and editing guest blog submissions, but also for generating blog content and for developing social media connections to the literary journal.

Cassie Wilson is someone you would call a wanderer. Growing up she jumped around from city to city with her family having no set destination called “home”. Throughout her endeavors, the only constant she had were her books, notebook, and pen. She’s always loved to escape to her secret land of literature, poetry, or writing. She has a myriad of passions: cinematography, art, poetry, theatre, piano, and the occasional vocal shower performances. She is a huge advocate for LGBTQ Rights, Animal Rights, and the Self-Love/Body Positivism Movement. She comes from a predominately spiritual household filled with crystals, sage, tarot cards, yoga/meditation sessions, and anything you would find on a “witches” mantel. You could find Cassie at any dog park, notebook in hand, coffee in the other, all while engaging in the very occasional “Awwwwww!”. She is currently in her third year at Pasadena City College majoring in English with the hopes to transfer to Woodbury University to obtain a Bachelor's in Professional Writing. She's also working on a book of poetry titled: The Declarations of a “Ballerina”.
