STAFF - MATTHEW MOLINA

Matthew Molina, Co-Editor, Poetry

As co-editor for poetry, Matthew reads and helps to edit all of the poetry submissions for online and in-print submissions. Additionally, Matthew helps to select Art & Photography for the online and print issues.

Born to breathe, taught to speak, learned to think. Matt was born in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He lived all over the place until his family decided to settle down in Pico Rivera, California. This is where he attended and graduated from El Rancho High School. As a student at PCC and newly promoted manager of life, the sense of doubt has ran throughout his mind. Constantly convincing himself of not being good enough to pass his classes and handle such a responsible role. But after experiencing each passing semester, he’s grown to learn more about himself then expected. Throughout the years he’s developed a passion for writing mixed with a love for art that can express his silent mind. When creating pieces of work, Matt’s eager to let his thoughts and feelings to share with others. It’s his format of speaking without necessarily talking out loud. Read his work in the Summer 2018 Online issue -- check out the archives.
