Tommy's Escapade

As Tommy left his new Cadillac that had broken down in the middle of the pouring thunderstorm, he wondered if there was a payphone in the town ahead. As he neared the town, his fear increased. The  town looked like an abandoned ghost town from forgotten movies.

But just at the edge of the road he saw a phone booth and thought, "I'm saved!"
​

Tommy was freezing because of the rain. As he got closer to the booth, he saw an “Out of Order” sign. 

Thunder rumbled in the sky getting louder and louder. Tommy opened the phone booth door and crumpled to the floor, curling his body. The thunder got louder and louder on this cold night as Tommy settled in to sleep.
