Break Up Poems

I hate you.
I hate the way you laugh, The way you smile, The way you are worthwhile. I hate that you’re stuck in my brain, I hate how you’re so wonderfully weird. I hate how you make me happy, that I make you cry. I hate how you can’t be mine, I hate that you seem fine. I hate you. I hate your beauty. I hate your inexistant love. I hate your body and soul. I hate your incredible voice. I hate you soothe me, how you know how to care. I hate how you hold me, and try to keep me there. I hate you. I hate your perfection. Your ever so beautiful face. Your soft skin, Your breathtaking talent. I hate all that is you, All that represents us. I hate that I knew you, But how can I? I hate how we cannot sustain, I hate how we can be anything but a couple. I hate you, But I love you. -B.N |
I love you.
I love when you hold me, your warmth on my skin. How my head snuggles under your chin. I love your crinkled eyes when you smile I love how you're a total dork. I love how you treasure me. How you prove your love to me. I love how we have a unique romance I love how I was lucky to have this chance I love you I love your smile I love your unconditional love I love your tender soul I love your big brown eyes I love your big outstretched arms How they envelope me How they protect me And provide a home for me I love you I love your voice How it changes when you talk to me How it softens and turns so sweet I love how I broke free from you How I hurt you How you hurt me How you shut me out of your life And through tears and broken promises in the end you still told me "I love you". Well now, I hate you. -A.A |
