Hannah Humphrey
At dusk
there is a paralyzing space
filled with intentions and dreams best
left forgotten. Travellers
arrive and depart in star-sparkled
succession, drinking knowledge
only to lose the wisdom
on the trip home. Waiting souls
linger, hoping to return to
sleep or to the dawn, unable
to track the hours spent
in between.
