First 100 Days

The newbies serve up baloney,
say we’ve been lied to misinformed
say we’re not fucking over the air water earth
say we’re not drowning in our own shit.
The emissaries of fracking brotherhood
want to overturn the rules bung up the amber waves,
say what will make us great again is
a great infarction from sea to shining.
So who will police the mess?
I say we need powerful guard dog protectors--
mongrel Wops and Button-Heads,
Beaners, Coons, Frogs and Chinks, Camel Jockeys, Pollacks,
my Bohunk Grandmother.
I say there are no good reasons for keeping our collective mouths shut.
