Written by: Chelsey Quezada The sky is crying
Mourning another life lost Showering on moral lines crossed. The stars are dying Losing all that they hold dear Battling a "war" in press gear. Worlds are defying Knowing this is not about faith Haunting civilians with "war's" wraith. The stars are dying Running out of their supplies While planes pass over their skies. The flags are flying Calling for a ceasefire Voicing pain to those up higher. The stars are dying Writing their final goodbyes Victims to all those who spread lies. The sky is crying Gray-clouding with depression Thundering at mass oppression. The stars are dying Twinkling for one last time How much worth is life to a dime?
